The word Origin, is alluded to the beginning, the start, the irruption, the emergence, the root, the beginning, the source, the cause.
An obsession, a feeling of solitude in a world full of information, a playful zygote that transforms and participates in a changing or static and fun material world that has made it think in its current moment in a new evolution.
The author shows in his work the need to destroy to rebuild by means of the actions exercised on the shells used in each of his works: cut, drill, break, suspend, join, illuminate, among others. During this process of recognition Gabriel seeks to understand and affirm the evolution of his identity from the use of the "shell" as an element that hints at both: the origin, as well as the different ruptures and reconfigurations that occurred during the different stages of his life up to the present time. In the same way, several of his pieces present patterns of symmetry, repetition and multiplication that evoke his close relationship with architecture and experience as a designer in the Middle East.
Beyond the different explanations that the author seeks to define his life experience, the work of Gabriel wants to provoke in the viewer a reality where he reflects himself through the mirror contained in his work.
